A new label and new take on a classic. The Eileen Hardy Shiraz is juicy, plump and full of life with a magnificent backbone of tannin and spice without being overbearing. A classic in the making.
Deep, rich red/purple colour and a powerful, smoky/oaky and sooty/char bouquet including regional spice. The palate is very impressive: powerful, concentrated, muscular and dense, with majestic tannin structure and tremendous length. It has a great future. The flavour is voluminous and the power of the wine is awesome. Great Aussie shiraz. (Upper Tintara single vineyard, 113 year-old vines)
